TheySix Discord Rules

These rules apply to everyone in the TheySix Discord. They are written to keep conversations useful, protect members from harassment, and give staff a clear basis for moderation. When a situation is not covered word-for-word, use the same principles of respect, safety, and good-faith participation.

Community rules

Be respectful

Treat other members with kindness and consideration. Disagreements are fine; personal attacks, intimidation, and hostile behavior are not.

Use the right channel

Keep messages in the channel that matches their subject. This keeps the server searchable and makes it easier for members to find useful information.

Keep content family-friendly

NSFW content is not allowed anywhere in the server, including links, images, profiles, and messages.

Follow Discord policies

Your activity must comply with Discord's Terms of Service and Community Guidelines, in addition to these server rules.

No hate or slander

Racist comments, hateful language, slander, and toxic messages are not allowed. Help keep the community welcoming and free from discrimination.

Use the self-promotion channel

Minecraft content creators may share their builds and promote their YouTube videos in #🔥╏self-promotion. This channel is for sharing community content, so you will not be banned for promoting your own Minecraft content there.

No commercial advertising

Advertising online shops, paid services, or paid promotions is not allowed, including in the self-promotion channel. Do not use other channels, direct messages, or member profiles to promote commercial content to TheySix members.

Tag staff only when needed

Avoid unnecessary staff mentions. Use the dedicated helpers and support channels first so staff can respond efficiently.

Use the normal staff escalation

If you need staff help, you may ping up to two Helpers once. Try to choose Helpers who do not have the LOA or SLOA tag. If no Helper replies after several hours, you may ping a Moderator once. Do not mass-ping staff.

Use the emergency role only for urgent issues

The emergency role is for genuinely urgent situations that need faster attention. Use it only when the normal support process is not enough. The expected response time is between one and eight hours, so an emergency ping is not a guarantee of an immediate reply.

Do not misuse protected or emergency roles

Do not ping TheySix, staff, or emergency roles without a valid reason. Misusing the emergency ping can result in a warning. A third warning for misuse can result in a ban. Follow any additional instructions from staff about role mentions.

Official policies

Discord's platform policies and Minecraft's legal terms also apply. The server rules cannot grant permission to break either platform's policies. Read the current official documents here:
