Getting the world

  1. Find the world file from the download source (e.g. via `/dn input:<download_number>` in the TheySix Discord).
  2. Download the world to a safe location on your device.
  3. Extract the `.zip` or `.rar` file. The extracted result should be a folder containing your world (often named after the world or map).

Installing the world

  1. Open your Minecraft saves folder (see locations below).
  2. Move the extracted world folder into the `saves/` directory. Do not rename critical files inside of it.
  3. Close your file explorer and launch your Minecraft instance (Vanilla, Forge, Fabric, or any launcher is fine).
  4. Open Singleplayer - your world will appear in the list. Select it and play!

Saves folder locations

  • Windows: `%APPDATA%\.minecraft\saves\`
  • macOS: `~/Library/Application Support/minecraft/saves/`
  • Linux: `~/.minecraft/saves/` (for Flatpak installs, use `~/.var/app/com.mojang.Minecraft/.minecraft/saves/`)
